Sand Art with RIMOSA at the Library

RIMOSA’s Sand Art Table
Observe.  Explore. Create.

with RIMOSA

During the month of July, a sand art table from the Rhode Island Museum of Science and Art’s (RIMOSA) traveling exhibit “Metamorphosis” will be on display and available to children to create with in the Children’s Room.

Patterns on the Sand Table

With this hands-on exhibit, children can manipulate the colorful purple and green sand with paintbrushes, scoops, and their hands to create designs and patterns.  It’s a great sensory experience!
